Golfers of all levels of ability are encouraged to watch The R&A’s ‘Quick Guide to the Rules of Golf’ to help become familiar with the basics of the rules.
For those set to start their season in the northern hemisphere or playing regularly in other parts of the world, golfers can refresh their knowledge on the basics of the Rules of Golf by viewing the video.Voiced by golf commentators Iona Stephen and Kit Alexander, the video covers 16 key themes including what to do before starting your round, understanding the different areas of the course, and how to proceed when you can’t play the ball as it lies. While the 12-minute guide is aimed at newer golfers, it is a good refresher for all players and covers the essential information needed to get round a course. The combination of video, diagram and verbal explanation is aimed at making the Rules easier to understand.
Make golf more appealing
