In the Junior Vagliano Trophy, Great Britain and Ireland and the Continent of Europe were locked at 1½-1½ after the three morning foursomes.

In the top match, Carla De Troia and Lynn van der Sluijs defeated Grace Crawford and Maggie Whitehead 3&1. The visitors were never behind in the contest, with the duo three-up after 12 holes. Crawford and Whitehead responded by picking up two of the next three holes to reduce the arrears, but a disappointing bogey on the 16th followed by a concession on the 17th gave the Europeans the first point of the morning session. The Spanish duo of Anna Cañadó Espinal and Andrea Revuelta Goicoechea halved their match with Rosie Bee Kim and Marina Joyce Moreno. It looked like the GB&I pairing would take the full point after edging ahead at the par-3 15th, only to lose the 18th after succumbing to a bogey to end up with a share of the spoils. Nevertheless, Isla McDonald-O'Brien and Amelia Wan ensured the points available in the morning session would be shared after winning their match against Johanna Axelsen and Perla Sól Sigurbrandsdóttir by one hole. The contest went the distance, reaching the 18th hole all-square, and it was McDonald-O'Brien and Wan who held their nerve to seal a point for the home side with a par at the last. After the morning foursomes in The Jacques Leglise Trophy it remained level as two wins apiece left the scores at 2-2 going into the afternoon singles.

Great Britain and Ireland and the Continent of Europe shared the spoils in the morning session of the Jacques Leglise Trophy with a 2-2 scoreline at Blairgowrie’s Rosemount course.

Oihan Guillamoundeguy and Marco Florioli ran out comprehensive 5&4 winners in the opening foursomes match against Josh Hill and Oliver Murkerjee. They seized control of the encounter by winning three holes in a row from the 5th, where they went two-up with a superb eagle 3, before edging further ahead with a par good enough to take the 6th hole and a birdie at the 7th hole leaving them four-up. A birdie at the par-5 11th put the visitors five-up and despite Hill and Murkerjee winning the 13th hole to reduce the deficit, the match was closed out at the 14th with a birdie from Guillamoundeguy and Florioli. Team-mates Tim Wiedemeyer and Carl Siemens were also in ominous form in their match with Josh Berry and Harley Smith, defeating the GB&I pairing 4&3 to pick up the second point of morning session. Berry and Smith edged ahead at the 3rd hole after their opponents could only make bogey, but the European duo responded strongly with birdies at the 4th, 5th and 7th holes to go two-up. They then extended their lead to four-up after winning two holes in a row, again with birdies, at the 10th and 11th. The two sides then traded blows over the next four holes, ending in Wiedemeyer and Siemen sealing the match on the 15th with a par to leave the Continent of Europe 2-0 ahead. Dylan Shaw-Radford and Niall Shiels Donegan responded for the home side after beating Thijmen Batens and Tom Haberer 2&1, eventually taking control of the match after winning the 13th and 15th holes and not looking back. Local favourite Connor Graham, who plays out of Blairgowrie, and Frank Kennedy then defeated William Wistrand and Albert Hansson 3&2 to ensure the two sides finished the morning session all square at 2-2.
