The pairings for the opening foursomes matches in the 43rd Curtis Cup at Sunningdale have been announced.

Melanie Green – the 2024 Women’s Amateur Champion – and three-time Curtis Cup player Rachel Kuehn will lead off the USA on Friday morning, going out at 7:45am local time (BST) against Great Britain and Ireland’s Mimi and Patience Rhodes, only the second pair of sisters to feature together in the same match. Two Irish players will feature in the second match for GB&I, with Aine Donegan and Beth Coulter facing the two highest-ranked members of the USA team, Zoe Campos and Jasmine Koo. The final foursomes match on day one will see the leading player on the World Amateur Golf Ranking® (WAGR®), Lottie Woad, team up with Sara Byrne against Catherine Park and 15-year-old Asterisk Talley. Friday morning’s opening foursomes will be followed by three four-ball contests in the afternoon, with the same schedule repeated on Saturday before the match concludes with eight singles matches on Sunday. The United States require 10 points to retain the trophy they won at Merion in 2022, while GB&I need 10.5 points to claim a first victory since 2016.
